Signed my contract with the hospital today...filled up so many forms...everyone was so irritated with the HR today...they took like 4hrs and 30mins to do something that could be done in at least by half the time.
And 'cus they didnt even print enough of a specific form, 1/3-1/2 of the students had to sit there for 1 and 1/2 hours doing nothing(!) while waiting for them to print more. PLUS, they started everything 30-40mins late without informing us how long we had to wait and without even apologising. goodness.....
Still, anyway, the sponsored students got to sign the contracts today in which we were told our staff salary and benefits and no. of leave etc. We have a 6 months probation period. Now I've got 3 different dates to go for a medical check-up, collect my uniform, and one for another meeting day with the HR (to collect our tags, final results and more briefings) [I know by now not to be on time for the HR one. :x]
Then i'll be officially starting work on the 20th april!
We got to re-choose our ward preferences. I chose: 1. Surgical 2. Medical Oncology (my PRCP ward) 3. Obstetrics and Gynaecology
i pray i'll land up where God wills me. He really knows best (:
