Work is getting very stressful. Because the store's losing money. So they cut down on labour cost plus pressure the cashiers to sell more. Supposed to have 7 workers. Kitchen, Kitchen support, Two cashiers, Controller cum Fryer and two CS.
You know what the managers did? They assign one person to do Kitchen, one Cashier cum Fryer and one Controller cum CS. Seven workers reduced to three. And in peak hours, there may be another cashier. Usually I'm the Cashier cum Fryer. Off peak hours I'll be thrown to do Controller cum CS and maybe Fryer. madness. They haven't finished teaching me controller!
If you happen to be the Cashier cum Fryer, you have to bring in at least $200 dollars per hour. Means $10 per 20 customers in an hour. Promote upsize and side orders like crazy. And we are paid like. $3.50 per hour.
Somehow I'm glad I didn't quit. Otherwise they would be worse. Ohwell. And. I really don't understand anything that's going on now. But that doesn't mean I'll stop trusting.
