She stares at the four walls around her
Walled into darkness
Back to square one...
She creeps forward
Heart racing
Adrenaline pumping
Dare she try?
But if she stayed, she would die
She reaches out her handsGroping apprehensively in the darkA door knobA flicker of hope
She had been heard
She had to at least try
Though the word 'again' appeared in her head
Trembling fingers turned the knob
The door creaked open a little
A flicker of hope

Though the word 'dissapoint' threatened menacingly
She peered through the small openingA glorious light filled her eyes
A light that was brillant, yet did not blind
A light that was pure, yet did not condemn
A light that was beautiful, yet took in the ugly
A hope surged in her heart
She pushed open the door
The Light that was life
Ran to her
And she took a step forward...
When God RAN
Almighty God, the great I AM
Immovable rock, omnipotent powerful
Wondrous God, Victorious Father
And the only time...
The only time i ever saw Him run...
Was when He ran to me , He took me in His arms
Held my head in His chest
And said my son's come home again
Looked at my face, wiped the tears from my eyes
With forgiveness in His voice He said
'Son, do you know i still love you?'
It caught me by surprise..when God ran...
Man can fail us. God won't.
